| For two days, authentic World War II camps manned by reenactors will showcase various uniforms, weapons, and equipment used by soldiers from Allied and Axis armies during the war. Fully operational military vehicles, from jeeps to armored cars, will be displayed so you can see the arsenal of democracy up close and in person. Entertainment will include food and beverage vendors, live music, and a USO party on Saturday night. 3/22/2010: THE VILLAGES HAS NOT ARRANGED FOR A BIG BAND THIS YEAR. OUR APOLOGIES. Saturday night, April 10th, dance in the company of World War II veterans to the sounds of the Big Bands made famous in the 1940's in the heart of the Villages. This is your chance to kick up your heels and wear your Class A's, 40's civilian clothing, or any vintage uniform.
